How Do I Get There?Airport Information Greece's primary airport is Athens International (ATH), which serves as the gateway for all commercial international flights destined for Athens. Arrival & Departure Time Your arrival in Greece should be scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12 no later than 12:00 PM (noon). Our bus will depart from the airport at the latest by 2:00PM. When planning your departure from Greece, kindly schedule it for Saturday, no earlier than 10:00 AM. Our bus will depart from the marina to the airport approximately 3 hours before the earliest flight. For travelers who wish to arrive in Athens before Saturday, our bus will arrange a pick up time and place in Athens City Center. Arrival in Athens Upon your arrival at ATH, our dedicated hosting team will be there to warmly welcome you at the airport. Once the entire group has gathered, a pre-arranged bus will transport all guests from the airport to the marina with a possible stop in the heart of Athens City Center for lunch before moving on to the next leg of our adventure! Boats Check In - Check Out Time Check In: Saturday at 17:00 Check Out: Saturday at 09:00 Sailing Departure Time We'll start our sailing adventure no earlier than 6:00PM. Guests will be assigned to their boats, followed by a quick safety briefing. After that, we'll set sail for our first destination. Get ready for a fantastic journey!
-
Is Sailing Experience Required? No prior sailing experience is required. Our sailboats are all helmed by skilled, seasoned, and well-trained captains. Moreover, our crew members are well-versed in sailing, and they are always available to assist the captains when needed. While having prior sailing experience is not a prerequisite, it can certainly enhance your enjoyment of life on board a sailboat.
-
Is it Possible to Learn to Sail?Certainly! We offer sailing lessons upon request during the trip. These courses provide you with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to embark on the art of sailing. While mastery requires time and dedication, our lessons offer a great starting point for those eager to explore the world of sailing.
-
How Does the Weather Affect Our Itinerary?Sailing is inherently susceptible to the influence of weather conditions. In the rare case of very strong winds (>26knots) it may become necessary to modify our itinerary or be moored in an island for more days than scheduled. Just as we practice mental and physical agility on the yoga mat, we remain vigilant and agile while sailing by keeping a close eye on weather forecasts and adapting our destinations accordingly. Fortunately, Greece's geographical diversity offers an abundance of breathtaking sailing options, even when faced with strong winds. Whatever the case, we guarantee that alternative plans will meet the requirements and quality of services as promised. It's worth noting that strong winds are infrequent during the months of May, June, until mid-July, as well as in September and October, which are the primary sailing months.
-
What About Motion Sickness? While motion sickness can affect a few individuals, particularly in the presence of significant waves, rest assured that our sailing areas typically offer calm waters with minimal swells. For those who may be prone to motion sickness, we provide various remedies to alleviate symptoms. These include offering a comfortable lying position, ginger tablets, and the unique opportunity to take control of the boat under the captain's supervision. This latter option is akin to the sensation when someone feels car sick as a passenger but suddenly finds relief when they take the wheel. Additionally, we've thoughtfully planned our routes to ensure that the majority of distances between islands are relatively short. As a result, you'll find that most of your time will be spent either offshore or moored in marinas.

What is the Cancellation Policy?.. CANCELLATION POLICY The Participant’s retainer payment of $1000 serves to reserve the Participant’s space in the Retreat and is thus nonrefundable and not transferable in case of cancellation. The Participant understands that cancelling their reservation damages the Retreat Host as the Retreat Host relies on the Participant’s reservation to make other business and scheduling decisions, including booking services from third parties and turning away other potential attendees. If the Participant notifies the Retreat Host of their intent not to attend the Retreat more than 60 days before the Retreat start date, the Participant agrees to pay the Retreat Host the greater of 50% of the Retreat Price or the $1000 nonrefundable retainer. If the Participant chooses to leave the Retreat before Services are complete or notifies the Retreat Host of their intent to cancel this Agreement with less than 60 days notice before the Retreat begins, the Participant agrees to pay the Retreat Price in full. Cancellation on short notice makes it unlikely that the Retreat Host will be able to rebook the Participant’s spot on the Retreat and recover expenses already made to Retreat vendors and partners, and as such the Participant’s payments will serve as liquidated damages. Finally, the Participant understands that the Retreat Host must book a certain number of participants in order to provide Services under this Agreement and that a variety of factors impact the Retreat Host’s ability to implement planned Services. Thus, the Retreat Host is entitled to cancel this Agreement at any time and for any reason. If the Retreat Host chooses to cancel the Retreat under this provision, the Participant will be entitled to a full refund of the Retreat Price, only. The Participant will not be entitled to damages for travel expenses or other costs incurred to attend the Retreat in case of a Retreat Host-initiated cancellation.
